Durability Analysis of Building Exterior Thermal Insulation System in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Area Based on ANSYS

External thermal insulation systems often have durability problems, including cracking, hollowing, and falling off, which seriously affect safety energy-saving effects. Based on finite element theory using ANSYS software, this paper studies the distribution law of temperature field stress external system. It was found that, compared with an uninsulated wall, substrate in summer reduced by 52.9%, winter 50.9%. The is mainly concentrated middle position wall system, can appear as a hollow drum fall off. When surface 60 °C, maximum system 2.46 MPa, 70 °C—a decrease 22.2%; 0.46 MPa—a 20.7%. outer 50 suffered 1.75 44.4%. Meanwhile, 0.34 41.4%. This investigates numerically simulates for buildings hot cold regions, EPS insulation, provide guidance other material design studies.
